overall experience was very comfortable. we stayed for 2 night and liked our stay. it was in a great and particularly good place. it also was very close to the centre, and sightseeing.

This place is a great base for exploring and has a fantastic setting near the city center and attractions.

The location was mind-blowing, right in the heart of the action, making it super convenient to explore everything. The apartment was exceptionally clean and had all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay. The views from the apartment were jaw-dropping, and despite the climb up "The 39 Steps", it was totally worth it. The comfortable sofa and bed ensured a relaxing stay, and the self-catering amenities were a bonus. Breakfast at Betty's was absolutely fantastic. a top-notch experience!

I had a fantastic stay at the apartment on the Historic Shambles. the suite was well-equipped for self-catering, and everything was exceptionally clean. the location was perfect, right in the middle of York, with pleasant views and easy access to the city. the sofa and bed were both comfortable, and the kitchen had all the necessary facilities. I particularly enjoyed the lovely view and the convenience of being at the bottom of the Shambles. the early departure time of 10:00 was a bit inconvenient, but overall, it was a great experience. Special mention to the helpful cleaner I met during my stay. Cons: Everything was spot on! 👌.

The location of the William Morris Suite At The Shambles - Yorks Historic Street was excellent, right in the heart of York. Being able to explore the city easily was a huge plus. The suite itself had pleasant views and the bed and sofa were both comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep after a long day of sightseeing. I also appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, which made self-catering a breeze.

Loved being close to Bettys Cafe Tea Rooms, York Barbican and Cliffords Tower. Bramham Park was a mere 33 km away and the National Railway Museum was a convenient 1.6 km from the property.

Oh, who needs warning signs about steep stairs, dangerous baths, and uninterested agents? It's all just part of the adventure, isn't it?

The 1-bedroom apartment at William Morris On The Historic Shambles York is cozy and comfortable. I loved the living room with its flat-screen TV, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The fully equipped kitchen was a bonus, allowing me to cook my own meals. The bedroom was airy and peaceful, ensuring a good night's sleep.

The only downside for me was the lack of a washing machine. But hey, some people might not mind that at all!
